Katie Perry will go to space on the journey of the blue origin

Pop Katie Perry will explode in space as part of a flight from all Women on the new Shepherd missile from Blue Orige.

He will join the fireworks singer by Blue Elemia, Jeff Bezos Lauren Sanchez, CBS Gayle King, a former NASA missile scientist, Aisha Bowe, Civil Rights Activist Amanda Naguin, and film producer Kirian Flynn.

Blue Orige said this is the first aliens of the fusion since the mission of Valentina Terichkova of the Soviet Union in 1963.

There is no specific date for the launch, but the blue origin said it will happen this spring.

Katie Perry is scheduled to be on her life round from April 23 to November 11, so this trip is expected to take place before that.

“If you told me that I would be part of the first female crew in space, I would think you are. There was nothing more than my imagination as a child,” Perry said in a news cited by Newsweek.

The NS-31 mission will be the eleventh human spaces of the new Shepherd and 31 missile in its history. To date, the program launched 52 people in space.

A journey in the new Shepard usually lasts about 11 minutes, according to Blue Origin. It is completely independent – which means that there is no pilots – and takes passengers after the internationally recognized karman line as the edge of space.

The credit for Blue Orige Sanchez to collect the mission together, saying in her press statement that she “is honored to lead a team of explorers on a mission that will challenge their views on the ground, enable them to share their stories, and create a permanent impact that would inspire generations to attend.”

Sanchez announced for the first time her plan to fly with a full crew of women on a blue origin missile in 2023 in an interview with Vogue, saying they “represent the way for women.”

This is the latest group of celebrities to start a journey to space.

Paisos flew himself in the company’s first inhabited mission in 2021. Michael Strohan, co -actor of Good Morning America, and Star Trek William Shatner in one of the Bezos.
