Infosys, a provider of leading information technology services, is scheduled to be released by salary increase messages by the end of February, with an increase of 5 % to 8 %. These increases will become valid in April 2025.

The company also started issuing promotional messages since December, indicating a strategic response to an expected increase in technology budgets for the next fiscal year.

This decision comes at a time when the demand environment rises, as Infosys puts itself to take advantage of the expected height of information technology, Moneycontrol said.

“On a large scale, the (annual salary increase) companies that we expect are 6-8 % Q3FY25 results,” said Ingusse’s financial manager.

In a contradictory development, Infosys faced a violent reaction after putting nearly 700 fresh from the mysuru campus.

According to what was reported, these employees, who were with the company for only a few months since they were expelled on September 2024, were rejected in what was described as a “horrific and immoral step” by Harbrete Singh Saluja, head of the Knight IT Federation.

The Union claimed that “guards and security personnel” were deployed during the termination, which sparked great criticism. Workers’ layoffs have sparked widespread anger on social media, as users express their sympathy and anger at sudden job losses.

One of the users described the situation as “truly tranked”, with highlighting that many new students have waited more than two years after graduation to join Infosys, only to be demobilized after six months. Another publication pointed to the scene as “the most destructive image recently,” which confirms the emotional impact on the affected individuals who have documented in one of the largest IT companies in India for their professional beginnings.

The delay in the mobility has become a noticeable problem in the Indian IT sector, as many companies struggle to align employment with the fluctuating market requirements. This has been waiting for a new tenant, which exacerbates the uncertainty that new graduates face.
