The White House said that the straw of paper is more expensive than the plastic straw and uses chemicals that may carry risks to human health.
“The illogical campaign against the plastic straw has forced the Americans to use the non -functional straw,” the fact newspaper says: “This ends during President Trump’s era.”
It comes after Trump pledged last week to end the ban and restrictions on plastic straw.

“I will sign an executive order next week to end the funny payment of Biden to the straw of paper, which does not work,” Trump said on Friday. “Back to plastic!”

Democrats also adopted the use of the straw of paper as a more environmentally suitable alternative, which Trump has criticized for years. “The liberal straw does not work,” he said in a 2019 social media post.
This comes after former President Joe Biden Administration Plans in July announced the gradual disposal of plastic for one use in the federal government.
