Espanyol Barcelona and Spain defender Mapi Lyon accused “violation of the privacy” of their player Daniela Caracas after an accident during the Liga F.
In the 15th minute of the Barcelona club’s derby match on Sunday, Lyon and Karacas collided while Espanyol defended a specific group.

Espanyol expressed “complete discontent and condemnation” of the accident – a viral clip on social media.
Espanyol said that the Colombian Caracas Center “is subject to hundreds of insults on social media” as a result.
“This is a procedure that we consider unacceptable, and the passage of the escape should not pass,” says the statement published on the Espanyol website on the web.
“Although Caracas was not able to respond at that time … later, when she reached what happened, she was aware of the seriousness of the gesture, but she chose not to respond angrily to avoid disciplinary punishment and harm to a team.”
Barcelona and Lyon statement
Since then Barcelona and Lyon issued a statement on behalf of Lyon, who denies accusations.
The statement read: “At any time, I was not, and I was not my intention, violating the intimate relationship of my fellow Daniela Caracas.
As the pictures appear, it was part of the work in which they were deliberately touched and yesterday, saying in response to the clash: “What is the matter with you? There is no contact with its own parts, and certainly no intention.
“The idea of touching the private parts of a colleague will never enter my head, it contradicts my principles and will never do such a thing.
“I condemn the harassment that Daniela seems to be suffering from social networks, which I have nothing to do with, and I have the most honest support.
“There was noise and controversy over my name, which only aims to destroy my image and its principles by publishing news and processes treated for other purposes, which indicates the week in which we are.
“I feel very upset and disappointed, and thus reserve the right to take legal action against those who seek to use the football incident accurately to cause damage to me and continue to publish unfounded accusations.”
Regarding the online abuse of Karacas, the statement issued by Espanyol continues: “We are concerned that instead of focusing on the same action, part of the media’s interest has been converted to other issues that have nothing to do with the seriousness of work.”

Barcelona, which won the match 2-0, is five clear points at the head of Liga F while Espanyol 13 in the 16th league occupies.
Lyon, 29, is a main player in Barcelona who won five league titles and three championship tournaments with the club.
Caracas, 27, is an international in Colombia who was part of their race to the quarter -finals of the 2023 World Cup.
