The Leeds Renos star was excluded in 2025, Maika Sivo, in the entire Premier League season.
Seifu picked up the injury during Leeds friendly against the season against Wigan Woriors on Sunday, and set out in the first half of his team’s 22-4 victory.
The wing single signed a three -year deal of NRL Side Parramatta. The 31 -year -old will now undergo surgery.
In a statement, Leeds Renos coach Brad Arthur said: “Our first thoughts with Maika and we will all move it and give him and his family to support us.
“Our medical team will make sure that it has the best possible treatment to return from injury as soon as possible. Maika is a strong character and I am sure that he will throw himself in his recovery to return to his best.”
“This is a very difficult blow to us as a club, but it is particularly destroyed for Mika, who has installed well in our group,” added sports director Ian Blaise.
“We were all enthusiastic to see what he could do in the Premier League in 2025, but we will just have to wait yet. With regard to our capture, we will need to review the full situation and look at all our options.
“We have some distinguished young players who can now get an opportunity to seize their chance, and I will discuss all our options with the club, a refrigerator and training staff in the coming weeks before the season.”
