Now you can raise Anakin Skywalker with this Darth Vader Tamagotchi

Have you ever wanted to raise Anakin Skywalker, instead of letting these Jedi falter all the way? Here’s your chance, albeit in the form of a virtual pet. Bandai just announced complete with a protective silicone case that is shaped like the Sith Lord’s iconic helmet.

As for the software, it’s Tamagotchi with a Star Wars sheen. You raise a Sprite-based Anakin from a boy, affecting his transformation into Darth Vader. You can feed him, train him, and take him to meet characters from the wider universe.

There is one thing you cannot do. You can’t love him enough to avoid his eventual fall to the dark side. Anakin will always transform into Darth Vader, though your perk revival (or lack thereof) will affect the type of threat he grows into. The company says there are ten unique Darth Vader characters that can flourish.

Vader Tamagotchi also plays over a dozen low-resolution renditions of famous scenes from the films, and even includes several mini-games. There’s a word puzzle, Lightsaber training, eating the famous Death Star trench and more. Oddly enough, there is no swimming class game.

This cute Genocide Night maniac goes on sale in March, with pre-orders available now. It costs $30. Vader’s virtual pet is a Star Wars III themed Tamagotchi. There is already Another is based on Grogu.
