Benjamin Sisko’s transfer option is the most realistic option for Arsenal

A potential gentleman’s deal involving Benjamin Sisco could make him Arsenal’s most realistic striker target, according to Charles Watts.

The Gunners have a clear problem up front at the moment, with Gabriel Jesus sidelined due to a serious and prolonged injury, while Kai Havertz is proving to be a bit inconsistent in that position, which may not even prove to be his best role in the long term.

Discussing his latest understanding of Arsenal’s plans to sign a striker, Watts said: “Although the links are strong, I can’t say for certain that Benjamin Sisko and Alexander Isak are the only strikers on Arsenal’s target list.” The next 12 months.

“They’re both obvious strikers who are very admired. We’ve known that for some time, but there will be other options they’re considering. For example, Victor Gyukiris is another player we know has been watched over the last 12 months.

“Cisco still looks like the most likely guy to me, I have to say that. His decision to stay at Leipzig in the summer and sign a new contract has not stopped Arsenal. In fact, it is a decision we know they understand, while they are clearly disappointed.

“The belief is that there is a respectable agreement between Cisco and Leipzig regarding the possibility of him leaving this summer for a sum that could certainly be achieved with Arsenal.

“So it now looks like this is the route they will try to go down. However, the big challenge will be convincing Cisco that he will get a lot of game time if he decides to make the move, something they were unable to do last summer.
