Tank demands

Hearn described Shakur (22-0, 10 KOs) as a “A great fighter” He is open to putting the Gervonta Davis fight where that is the “best opportunity” for the fight. It would take a lot of money to get Tank Davis to agree to fight Stevenson because he wouldn’t want to fight the track star unless he paid $100 million, he said.

This could mean that the fight will be on Amazon Prime PPV. However, it’s too early to start talking about a Tank-Shakur fight because Shakur may fall to the young lion Schofield (18-0, 12 KO) on February 22 in their Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol 2 undercard fight in Riyadh.

If Stevenson wins that fight, he still has to beat No. 1 ranked lightweight contender William Zepeda (32-0, 27 KOs), and it won’t be easy. With Zepeda’s sheer size, body punch, and ability to cut into the ring against runners, he’ll get to Stevenson, no matter how much movement he uses.

Shakur doesn’t have the power or work rate to match Zepeda. If Stevenson, a native of Newark, New Jersey, runs all night like he did against Edwin De Los Santos, Jeremiah Nakathelia, and Jewett Gonzalez, his stock will drop lower than ever.

Even if Shakur wins over Zepeda, it will be viewed as a defeat by the fans because He will be booedThe boxing world will watch the fight on DAZN. I expect 2025 to end badly for Stevenson, as his reputation as a runner has ruined Hearn’s best plans, making him a laughingstock and a leprechaun.

Hearn’s plan

“Shakur Stevenson’s plan is Scofield, Zepeda, Gervonta. We’re in 2025, and that fight is going to be one of the biggest fights in the world because Gervonta Davis is a great fighter, and so is Shakur. He’s just a great fighter. Let’s get there first. Wherever it is, that’s where Which is where the best chance of fighting lies,” said Eddie Hearn @Sean_Zittel: “That’s the way it should work.”
