If you are considering buying a foldable phone like Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold or Samsung Galaxy Z Fuld 6Perhaps this is due to their giant giant screens in the size of the tablet instead of their cameras. But any phone cost approximately $ 2000 should be able to take great pictures as well.

When it comes to Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Galaxy Z Fuld 6Each device excels in different fields. With my experience, Google was better to capture scenes that contain a lot of details such as landscapes, lighting and generally balanced colors more accurately. The enlarged shots that were captured on the Google phone also seemed more clear and significantly less noise than the Samsung phone. But the Galaxy Z Fold 6 generally kept more details in the pictures of people and pictures taken in low -light environments.

Both phones have similar camera specifications on paper, but the megapixel units do not tell the entire story. The size of the sensor and the photo processing pipeline in the slide that also occupies the phone also plays a big role in how the images appear.

Pixel 9 Pro Fold cameras for Galaxy Z Fold 6 cameras

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold Samsung Galaxy Z Fuld 6
Cameras 48 megapixels (petition), 10.5 megapixels (ultra -width), 10.8 MP (5X phone) 50 megapixels (broad), 12 megapixels (very wide), 10 megapixels (3X Run)
Selfie cameras 10 megapixels (internal screen), 10 MP (cover screen) 4 megapixels (internal screen under the screen), 10 MP (Cover Screen)

To test each phone, I took the same image of both phones on the same site and almost the same time. The photos were not edited below and taken with the large main camera on each device unless it was stated otherwise. Photography can be self -self; Opinions can differ about what makes the image good depending on your taste and preferences. But my goal is to show the differences between both phones.

Main camera

I have preferred the image of Pixel in this scenario because the center of the image looks excessively exposed to the Samsung image. Pixel 9 Pro Fold looks more realistic in life.

Here is another example in which Pixel 9 Pro Fold performed better than the Samsung phone. The pink flower looks more hot in this image.

Very wide

Pixel 9 Pro Fold takes the best image in this scenario. There is a lot of glow coming from the sun in the image of Samsung, which leads to erasing the left side of the image and blocking the picturesque Victorian home.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold

This image contains a much lower glow than those in Samsung.

This image captured by the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a lot of glow.

Light

Samsung dazzled me in this way for the reserved flower bouquet, which was taken in a dark room. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 image is more clear and clear than Google’s image, although the Pixel image is more bright.

This image is brighter than that Samsung, but it is not as clear.

Light

No one denying that Google’s image is brighter, but you can see the details in Oscar Furniture more clearly in the Samsung image.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold

This image is definitely more brilliant Oscar than Samsung’s image, but it is not the same details.

This image is a little dark Oscar, but it contains a lot of details.

10x enlargement

When it comes to enlarged pictures, Google is the clear winner. See how clear this image is for the brand in Cape May Winary in New Jersey compared to Samsung. Both pictures were taken with a zoom of up to 10x, but the Google image looks almost fog.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold

This image is much clearer than the one that was taken on the Samsung phone.

This image is more blurry than those taken on the Google phone.

20x enlargement

The case is the same with this image taken with 20x. There are a lot of definitions in the church bricks, and the scene appears more clear in the image of Google.

Mixed external lighting

I was surprised by the difference in the appearance of this image on every phone. Although I generally believed that Google had done better in terms of landscapes and a static life, this is the only exception. The Samsung image is warmer and contains more details, which you can not notice in particular in sand granules. By comparison, Google’s image appears to contain a blue filter over it.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold

This scene is great regardless of anything, but I prefer the warmer tone for Samsung.

Mixed internal lighting

Google wins this. The old cocktail in its image (left) is more detailed and colorful than in Samsung. It seems that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 may focus on the flower in the background instead.

Pixel 9 Pro Fold image has become more bright, and the cocktail looks more clear.

Pain

This was difficult, but I prefer Samsung’s image. It is a little golden, but this makes him feel more vibrant and active. The target face also looks more detailed in the image of Samsung in my opinion. (Although the Google image has a lower amount of glow, which appears to be a theme that is consistent with external shots).

Although Samsung’s image has more glow, I think it is the best picture.

Personal photo (cover camera)

Here is another challenge to contact him. I think Google’s image is more satisfied because my skin looks softer. But my face is definitely more soft in Google’s image compared to Samsung, which has more intensity and details.

Google’s personal photos are more satisfactory, but I think Samsung’s personal photos are more accurate.

Google’s image looks more natural than Samsung image.

My Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a very different style in taking selfies with internal cameras. The Google device is more bright and looks more natural and soft, which is what it preferred, while the Samsung is excessively processed – it is likely to compensate for a 4 -megapixel sensor. The foldable Google phone has a 10 -megapixel internal camera compared.

In general, Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 performs well in different conditions. The foldable Google phone is the practical winner when it comes to enlarged shots, and it generally picks up great landscapes and outdoor things with less glow. But I preferred pictures of people from Samsung, and the low -lighting Z Fold 6 photos also contained more details. The best camera depends on what matters to you more as a photographer.
