CD Projekt Red teased The Witcher 4 at The Game Awards as its first major global preview of the evening.

The cinematic image of a young woman being sacrificed while being defended by Ciri, a silver-haired witcher, as she confronts a giant spider-like creature with a monstrous human face looked absolutely stunning.

It was scary, but it was beautiful to see her cut off the monster’s limbs and tie him up with rope before decapitating him. There’s a lot of pent-up demand for this game, as The Witcher 3 was released in 2015, before the popular TV series even hit Netflix. No release date has been mentioned.
