Investing.com – U.S. stocks fell after the close on Thursday, as sector and sector losses dragged stocks lower.

At the end of trading on the New York Stock Exchange, the index fell by 0.53%, while the index fell by about 0.54%, and the index fell by 0.65%.

Among the best performing stocks in the S&P 500 index were Warner Bros Discovery Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose by 15.43% to a price of 12.49, and CH Robinson Worldwide Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose by 4.46% and closed at 114.00. Al-Gharb Pharmaceutical Services Company (NYSE:) rose by 4.21% to close at 331.62.

Among the weakest performing stocks today were Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:), which fell by 13.69%, closing at 474.63, and Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ:), which lost 8.19%, closing at 229.11. Western Digital Corporation (NASDAQ:), which fell by 5.59% to close at 65.99.

Among the best performing stocks on NASDAQ was Palisade Bio Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose by 68.57% to a price of 2.36. Seal Corp (NASDAQ:) rose by 60.87% to close at 1.85, and Himax Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:) rose by 44.93% to close at 9.71.
