Tom Brady is the latest person to enter the discussion surrounding official calls Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

“We’re trying to protect the quarterbacks, but coaches are demanding more quarterback runs than ever before in the history of the game. So, who’s protecting the quarterback? We’re trying to say the referees should do that?”

“If you don’t want to get hit, you can get down, you can escape the border,” Brady said. “But you can’t, in essence, make the defending player come at half speed, and then run over the defending player because he’s afraid to get a penalty. It’s a disservice to the game.
