Microsoft has A beta test will finally bring cloud streaming to Xbox consoles. Participants in the Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha levels of the Xbox Insiders program can start using this feature now on their Xbox Series
This news is an extension of Microsoft’s “Stream Your Own Game” feature In November. This initial launch allowed Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream select games they had purchased digitally on their TVs, Meta Quest VR headsets, and some supported browser setups. The company said at the time that it also plans to bring streaming to Xbox consoles and the Windows Xbox app in 2025.
Although this update is a welcome addition to Stream Your Own Game devices, there are still some caveats to the feature. First, it’s limited to Game Pass Ultimate members. Secondly, the game needs to support cloud streaming. There is a short Of the titles included in the program at the moment, but many of them are excellent and worth watching: Baldur’s Gate 3, Balatro, Cyberpunk 2077, Animal well, Reckless And the first six Final fantasy Games, to name a few. Once this is rolled out to the entire Xbox audience, it should be a useful way to simplify game downloads and access your entire library without having to fork out for external storage.
