Manchester United will be looking for a third successive win in all competitions when they host Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils had an impressive performance Winning on penalties with ten players Over Arsenal in the FA Cup third round last weekend, followed by a less than impressive match 3-1 win over bottom club Southampton In the Premier League on Thursday evening.

United were met with a chorus of boos in the first half against the Saints as they found themselves a goal down to the division’s lowest scorers, but Amad Diallo’s 12-minute hat-trick late in the game ensured An important, albeit unconvincing, victory.

The Red Devils lost their last two matches at Old Trafford with Brighton and were beaten at American Express Stadium in August after that. Winning goal by Joao Pedro in the 95th minute.

Here’s how united He could line up for a decisive engagement.

Goalkeeper: Andre Onana – One of the few to leave Old Trafford with dignity on Thursday evening, producing several fine saves to deny Southampton. He will be tested frequently by Brighton, who average 4.9 shots on target per game in the Premier League.

Centre-back: Matthijs de Ligt – Manchester United’s defensive unit was given a difficult time for most of Thursday’s game, but De Ligt produced the most respectable performance at the back. The Dutchman will have to keep a close eye on Pedro and possibly former Red Devil Danny Welbeck.

Centre-back: Harry Maguire – Lenny Euro was given the chance to escape by Southampton’s Kamaleddine Slimana, with United sorely lacking Maguire’s security in defence.

Center back: Lisandro Martinez – Martinez seemed well-suited to play on the left side of a centre-back three, but struggled under Amorim. The defender’s diminutive lack of air power has been exposed in recent weeks as well.

RM: Diogo Dalot – The Portuguese was suspended on Thursday after being unnecessarily sent off in the FA Cup last weekend. Amorim is supposed to return his compatriot to the starting lineup, allowing Amad to advance further.

Midfielder: Christian Eriksen – Manuel Ugarte scored an own goal and had a generally uninspiring performance against Southampton. He was linked up after 54 minutes, and could be replaced by Eriksen, who provided an assist from the bench.

CM: Kobe Maino – Maino was withdrawn even ahead of his midfield partner against Southampton. The youngster has been in successful performances this season as he looks to follow up his impressive debut campaign.

LM: Naseer Mazraoui – Al-Mazraoui gave an acceptable performance on Thursday and won at least most of his individual fights. He will be wary of some of the opposition’s speedy wingers this weekend, including Simon Adingra and Yankuba Menteh.

Radio frequencies: Imad Diallo – More often than not, Imad has been United’s savior during a miserable season, and he was there to rescue the Red Devils again in midweek with a brilliant hat-trick.

ST: Joshua Zirkzee – Rasmus Hoglund endured a rotten evening against Southampton’s normally porous defence, and Zirkzee made an immediate impact after replacing his team-mate at centre-forward. Such a cameo could earn him a start against the Seagulls.

LF: Bruno Fernandes – Always full of endeavor and invention, he has produced impressive performances against Liverpool and Arsenal in recent matches. Another eye-catching performance is needed against Brighton this weekend.
