according to Fox 35 OrlandoThe incident between Fleury and Monroe occurred on Wednesday, January 15, around 8 a.m. At one store, the 83-year-old arrived at Buddy’s Food and Lotto to collect $200 in lottery winnings.

Later, surveillance footage showed Monroe walking out of the store toward her car. Around the same time, a man wearing an orange jacket was seen walking toward the store. At that point, Monroe was seen trying to open her car door. But the man approaches her and appears to be trying to snatch things from her hands.

From there, another man was seen exiting the store in an apparent attempt to defend the 83-year-old. However, when the woman tried to get into her car, the suspect ran toward her. Eventually, he was seen forcefully grabbing her from the car and dragging her to the ground.
