The price of the Anker 20K power bank with charging dock has dropped to a record low price

If you’re in the market for a power bank, one of our favorite models is back at Black Friday price. Amazon has been discounted Anker Prime Power Bank with a capacity of 20,000 mAh — with optional base included — to $110, or 41 percent of its regular price of $185. As we mentioned earlier, the last time the Anker Prime hit $110, its lowest price ever, was during the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Anker Prime is a favorite on Engadget Premium power bank. Aside from its sleek design, the main reason you should choose the Prime over other more affordable models is the ease of use you get when you pair the power bank with its optional dock. The accessory features magnets that make it easy to align the charging pins, so you never need to fiddle with a cable to start the recharging process. Furthermore, the dock, which has a USB-A connection and two USB-C ports, doubles the number of ports offered by the Anker Prime.

As for charging speeds, they’re in line with what you can expect from other 20,000mAh power banks. In our tests, Prime charged the iPhone 11 from battery to 75 percent in 47 minutes and to a full charge in 1 hour and 48 minutes. With a 3,110 mAh phone like the iPhone 11, you can expect the Prime to fully charge your device three to four times before it needs to recharge on its own.

The only downside to the Anker Prime is how expensive its regular price is. At $110, this is a much better buy.
