Travis Kelce reveals Taylor Swift’s stance on retiring from the NFL

The high-profile couple has been publicly dating since September 2023. Following the conclusion of her record-breaking Eras Tour, Swift recently decided to spend more time in Nashville in order to stay close to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

There has been a lot of speculation that Travis Kelce is preparing to retire from the NFL, following on the heels of his brother Jason Kelce. In addition to his cameo appearance in “Happy Gilmore 2” and his full-length acting role in “Grotesquerie,” Kelce also hosted the show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” Game show.

While he wasn’t at soccer training, he was also traveling around the world visiting Swift during her Eras Tour in several different countries. Now that the tour is over, he continues to work with his brother on the highly successful podcast “New Heights.” With everything going on, many fans have speculated that Kelce may be looking to retire.

During his last appearance on Presentation by Stephen A. SmithThe NFL star revealed that the “You Belong With Me” singer “fully encouraged” him to “enjoy playing this game” and continue his football career.

“She loves coming to Arrowhead and attending games and cheering for me. He continued: “I have all the support in the world to continue pursuing these dreams.”

In October, the Kansas City Chiefs will turn 36 years old. With that in mind, he has considered retiring before this weekend’s qualifiers.

“It changes every day, man,” Kelsey said. “I love everything I do in this building. But at the end of the day, I’m not as successful on the field as I am individually. I’m excited to play the next two games at Arrowhead, to finish this season.”

“I’ll reevaluate it like I always do. And I’ll probably tell myself how much I love this thing and I’ll be back next year. “It’s something you have to keep in mind, man. I never want to get to the point where I’m not helping this team win or hurting this team more than I’m helping this team.

He continued, “As long as I’m coming here and playing good football and enjoying coming into the building every day with my guys, you’ll see me wearing a Chiefs uniform.”

On January 13, Kelsey discussed his relationship with the “Love Story” singer during an appearance on the show The Pat McAfee Show. During the interview, host Pat McAfee asked if Swift still uses him as motivation for her songs.

“Let’s just say you’re hanging out and having dinner for a bit and all of a sudden the creative spark goes off and you’re sitting down with an absolute monster who might become the most iconic icon in the history of music… Are you motivated every time?” McAfee asked.

“Oh yeah,” Kelsey replied. “You know that.”

When asked if Swift was working on an album about a “good” man, Kelsey replied: “There might be a few,” adding: “You know I can’t say, you know I can’t say…any of.” “Which.”

Kelsey went on to say that he would “never be involved” in her creative process but wanted to “support” her in any way he could. He added: “I’m here to see where things can go.”

On January 18, the Kansas City Chiefs will face the Houston Texans in their first playoff game of the season.
