Boticaa company focused on AI-generated models, has raised $8 million and launched its site New iOS mobile app.

While human models won’t like that, Botika said it is empowering online clothing businesses of all sizes with its AI-generated models that can make their clothes look good.

The app, along with the latest advances in Botika’s generative AI platform, helps fashion brands create high-quality images for e-commerce models. In addition to this announcement, Botika has closed an $8 million seed funding round, co-led by Stardom and Secret Chord Ventures, with participation from Seedcamp.

Botika makes fashion model photos available to all clothing designers.

This funding will drive continued product innovation and support the company’s expansion into the fashion industry, where it has achieved remarkable growth – growing its revenues nine-fold and its customer base 11-fold in the past year.

With this significant infusion of capital and launch of the mobile app, Botika aims to provide an accessible and cost-effective solution to enable online apparel brands to enhance their visual content, improve sales and reduce production costs.

Botika’s unique AI technology is designed to help brands seamlessly Convert basic product images to professional, studio-quality shots, complete with AI-generated models and backgrounds that reflect each brand’s aesthetic, with the company also training its own custom base models.

More than half of shoppers Rely on images provided by the brand or retailer when deciding whether or not to purchase an item of clothing. However, the company said the cost of producing an e-commerce photography shoot can range from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars per shoot.

Botika’s AI-generated fashion mockup addresses this critical pain point for fashion brands and breaks the barrier to high-quality brand imagery at a manageable cost and timeline. Botika’s platform allows brands to create vibrant, visually appealing images in minutes to attract customers and boost sales.

Botika’s new mobile app brings powerful AI-generated modeling tools directly into users’ hands, allowing fashion brands to create stunning mannequin-style product images anytime, anywhere.

Through the app, brands have access to their own virtual studio powered by AI, significantly reducing time to market by simplifying image production without sacrificing quality. This mobile functionality also includes Botika’s new support for flat poses and boxed shots, expanding the brand’s capabilities beyond its original focus on model photography.

In response to demand from mobile users on e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and others, Botika said it designed the app to enable the creation of comprehensive, professional-quality images directly from the phone. Brands can now capture, edit, and seamlessly sync images with their online stores, accelerating time to market while reducing costs and maintaining quality.

“Converting browsing shoppers into shoppers relies heavily on attractive, accurate product images, yet not every image is created equal,” Botika CEO Eran Dagan said in a statement. “As consumer expectations rise and e-commerce grows more competitive through social selling, brands and small online shops are at risk of losing profits due to photography costs or dull images that receive less engagement and fewer sales. With the launch of the Botika mobile app on iOS, We put the power of generative AI at our customers’ fingertips, empowering brands with the tools to bring their creative vision to life and better compete in the challenging online fashion market.

The funding and recent product innovations represent a major milestone for Botica, with plans to build on this momentum throughout 2025.
