Will Elon Musk post more than 400 tweets this week? More than 800? Estimate correctly and you could end up with a large amount of money if you would back your opinion by purchasing “shares” from Polymarket.
the Polymarket is sometimes controversial It is one of the online “prediction markets”. It’s a great – and somewhat sophisticated – way to put your money where your mouth is when you feel the need to voice an opinion online. Even if your thought is, “I bet Musk tweeted 400 times this week.”
In fact, the “marketplace” of Musk’s tweets on the site is so active that it has been given a top-ranking site link and is repeated weekly. This week’s market, which ends January 17, has generated more than $1.9 million in trading volume and routinely reaches more than $1 million. This does not mean that you will earn that much money. Your return will depend on the number of shares you purchase if your guess about the volume of tweets proves correct. (Polymarket did not respond to our request for comment on how much money this market paid.)

Site records show it has been a weekly market since at least June. There is a second option where users can bet on The number of tweets ranges from 300 to 550+ in 25 tweet increments.
Market discussions get serious too, sounding a bit like gamblers at a horse track talking about their choice of ponies. For example, on Tuesday, User “Rogu” analyzed.: “The current number of tweets per day is at 50, and is on track to reach 350. To reach 400+, he will need to average more than 65 per day for the remaining time. While this is a little more than that, it is not *that* much And with the spacecraft’s upcoming test flight, he may be tweeting a little more than the past few days.
Rogu is referring to SpaceX’s Starship Flight 7 launch, scheduled for January 15.

Polymarket’s main competitor, Kalshi, also has a high-profile link to Elon Musk, but is linked to all kinds of betting opinions on Musk, from what his roles might be in the new administration to speculation about his future net worth. (No doubt people can bet or buy stocks on these things from Polymarket, too.)
But the amount of time Musk would spend on his favorite, personally owned social media site was a consistent favorite. It has to be one of the most ridiculous and entertaining ways people spend their money on the Internet.
