David was a major highlight of Kristen’s new beginning after she ended her marriage to Kody in November 2021.

The estranged couple welcomed six children together – daughters Mykelti, Aspen, Isabelle, Gwendelyn and Truly, as well as son Bidon – before Christine decided to end their spiritual marriage.

Kristen happily shared that she was seeing someone in February 2023 and made their relationship Instagram official later that month. They took things further in April 2023 by purchasing a house together. Shortly after, the couple announced their engagement and set a wedding date for October 2023.

David also met Cody for the first time when he joined Kristen at a family Valentine’s Day party. Cody proceeded to question David about how long they had been together. On the November 10, 2024 episode, Kristen quickly responded, saying, “A month and a half.”

Cody also asked if David has met the three children and grandchildren he shares with Kristen. Christine said yes, and Mykelti added that the 60-year-old helped babysit the grandchildren while they went out for pedicures.

The lovely couple have since celebrated the first anniversary of their union, and David seems to have stuck to his claim that big groups and lots of kids don’t bother him.

David, a proud father of eight, described their relationship as a “hell ride” and continues to lavish well-deserved praise on his dear wife.

“I was in Sedona a few weeks ago. She’s really beautiful there, just like (Kristen). I’m so happy she found me and chased after me,” David captioned his October 15, 2024, post, which included a selfie photo of the couple.

The construction expert described his wife as “the most thoughtful, loving and caring person. I’m enjoying this ride and I just want to keep riding.”

The 28-year-old has never held back her voice on key matters in the Brown family. Last year, she sparked speculation when she addressed allegations of domestic violence within her family.

Although Meri never got physical with her, Mykelti explained in 2023 that Meri was “emotionally and verbally abusive to all of us when we were younger.”

The influencer also added that the abuse against the children stopped as they grew older and were able to stand up to their stepmother’s behaviour. Mykelti also noted that she felt like she bore the brunt of Meri’s treatment, a feeling that her siblings allegedly shared.
