The Securities and Exchange Commission has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk over his 2022 Twitter stock purchases

This week, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a lawsuit against Company

The complaint said Musk did not timely disclose that he had purchased more than 5% of Twitter’s common stock in March of that year.

This allowed Musk to continue buying Twitter stock at an artificially low price, paying less than $150 million, the SEC said.

Musk began buying Twitter in April 2022. The sale closes in October.
