Walmart is updating its logo for the first time in nearly two decades, highlighting its evolution while also serving as a nod to its past. High volume retailer Announced on Monday.
The word mark on the redesigned logo is inspired by founder Sam Walton’s classic trucker hat, and features a bold, navy blue font, the company said. The logo also retains the distinctive yellow spark, which has received a subtle update of its own.
