An Iranian court sentences two French citizens to more than 30 years in prison

Iranian authorities handed down long prison sentences to two French nationals, who have not been identified but are strongly suspected of being Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris, on October 14, 2025. They were convicted on multiple charges including “spying for French intelligence,” “participation in the commission of a crime against national security,” and “intelligence cooperation with the Zionist regime.”
