Stern clarified his position on the broadcast network, explaining that he has no intention of leaving them anytime soon and is already in discussions about “extending his contract in some way.”

However, the 71-year-old broadcaster did not reveal much about the ongoing negotiations, but indicated that he is comfortable whatever the outcome. “I love this company. I love it,” he declared.

He then expressed his pride in the company’s growth, recalling that it had about 200,000 subscribers when he joined, while its competitor, XM Radio, dominated the market.
