The end of this week’s Raw was completely unexpected, as Braunbreaker speared and betrayed Seth Rollins. Breakker also left the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after RAW went on hiatus.
The tension within The Vision began before the Crown Jewel Premium live event, when Rollins came out during the Crown Jewel Kickoff. Backstage at PLE, Paul Heyman asked Breaker and Bronson Reed not to interfere in Rollins’ match against Cody Rhodes. While Rollins got the job done himself, his world came crashing down on Monday night’s Raw.
In the main event of the show, CM Punk became the #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. After the match, The Vision destroyed Punk and also attacked Jey Uso and L.A. Knight, who Punk defeated to get another shot at Rollins’ title. In a shocking turn of events, Glacier Rollins also speared Rollins moments before the cameras stopped rolling. Reed and Heyman were then asked to choose a side, with both men siding with the former Intercontinental Champion.
After the cameras stopped rolling, Breaker walked away holding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Punk also returned to the ring with a steel chair, and Rollins was helped onto his back after being brutally beaten by The Vision.
Here’s everything that happened after RAW went off the air:
