Team India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj looked exhausted on day four (Monday, October 13) of the second Test against West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Siraj was seen receiving a head and foot massage inside the Indian dugout during the visitors’ second innings after intense bowling.

Siraj dismissed Shai Hope, who scored 103 off 214 balls, in the 84th over. Hope, who was trying to play a backwards delivery, was undone by a low bounce as the ball hit the inside edge and hit the stumps. Siraj celebrated his trademark gesture after taking his second wicket of the innings.

Team India is in a troubled place for the first time against West Indies

Team India was in trouble for the first time in the home series when West Indies showed fighting spirit in the second innings. Shubman Gill forced the follow-on with a 270-run lead, and the visitors responded with resilience and determination.

John Campbell and Shai Hope frustrated the Indian bowlers with a 177-run partnership for the third wicket. Campbell and Hope scored centuries as the visiting team erased the deficit. They forced India to bat again in the ongoing match.

However, India regained control in the second session. Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah caused a collapse and brought the hosts back into contention. Justin Greaves and Jayden Sills added an unbeaten 50-run stand for the last wicket, taking their side to 363/9 by tea on the fourth day.
