Australia will host India in a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series in October-November 2025. The Perth stadium will host the opening match of the ODI series on October 19, with the next two matches scheduled to be played on October 23 and 25 in Adelaide and Sydney. After that, the T20I matches are scheduled to be played on October 29 and 31 and November 2, 6 and 8 at five different venues.

After the conclusion of the Indian Championship, the Australians will host the England national cricket team in the high-octane Ashes series to be played during the months of November, December and January.
Meanwhile, Mitchell Marsh said that the Australians would love to play against India and would take part in the series at an ideal time in the lead-up to the Ashes and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
“We will have all the players heading to the Ashes, but everyone loves playing against India,” he told foxsports.com.au.
“We have great competition and great respect for them as a team. I think this is the perfect timing to play against India in the lead-up to the Ashes series. It will be a massive game.”
Mitchell Marsh leads Australia in the absence of Pat Cummins
Pat Cummins has been ruled out of the entire white-ball series against India as he continues his recovery from a lumbar bone strain. Also, the Australian selectors have announced the ODI squad for the three-match series and the T20I squad only for the first two matches.
In the absence of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Marsh will continue to captain the ODI series while Mitchell Starc returns to the side. Matt Renshaw has earned a call-up and is in line to make his ODI debut.
However, Marnus Labuschagne has been dropped from the ODI squad after his horror show with the bat in the last 10 overs.
Mitchell Owen is also on track to make his ODI debut, while Cameron Green will feature in the 50-over match against India, but is not part of the T20I squad. Conversely, Sean Abbott was selected in the T20I squad, but not in the ODI squad.
Star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell missed selection in the T20I squad due to injury, but will hope to bounce back in the last three matches.
