Dan Scavino to lead the White House Personnel Office during the Trump administration

Deputy White House Chief of Staff Dan Scavino The US President announced, on Sunday, that the United States is preparing to play a greater role in the administration of President Donald Trump.

Trump says Scavino, in addition to his current role, will now lead the White House Office of Presidential Personnel. This position was previously held by Sergio Gore, who is now moving on to become the US Ambassador to India.

“I am pleased to announce that the great Dan Scavino, in addition to being the Trump Administration’s Deputy Chief of Staff, will head the White House Office of Presidential Personnel, replacing Sergio Gore, who has done a fantastic job in this position, and will now serve as Ambassador to India,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“Dan will be responsible for selecting and appointing almost all government positions, which is a very large and important position. Congratulations, Dan, you will do a great job!” He added.

Scavino’s new appointment comes at a time when the Trump administration is waging a heated battle with Democrats to determine the cause of the ongoing government shutdown.
