India vs Australia match review – Women’s World Cup 2025, Match 13

India will take on Australia in the 13th match of the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. The match is scheduled to be played on Sunday (October 12) at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.

The Women in Blue will be desperate to win their next match to get back to winning ways. Their winning start to the tournament ended with a painful defeat to South Africa in the previous match.

India defended 252, with South Africa reeling at 81/5. However, Laura Wolfardt’s 70-run knock and Nadine de Klerk’s unbeaten 84-run knock propelled South Africa to a stunning three-wicket win in the final over. In all the three matches so far, India have suffered batting collapses and will look to do better in the upcoming contest.

On the other hand, Australia did not lose in the tournament. However, the batting collapse is something that also worries them. In their last outing, they were reeling at 76/7 against Pakistan before a century led by Beth Mooney to drive 221 runs. In the end, Australia won the match by 107 runs, continuing their unbeaten run in the competition.
