French Prime Minister-designate Sebastien Lecornu announced Saturday that he will form a government that is “not a prisoner of parties” to address the political crisis that is “painful for everyone.” Speaking publicly for the first time since his reappointment, Lecornu stressed the importance of forming a government with members who have no political ambitions for the 2027 presidential election, FRANCE 24’s Olivia Piso reported in Paris.
