Morocco’s King Mohammed VI urged elected officials to stop wasting time and fix social injustice in a short but charged speech on Friday, in which he framed issues similar to those raised by the country’s youth-led Generation Z protesters as matters of governance rather than a broader vision for the country. He did not explicitly refer to the protests that have been sweeping the country for about two weeks.
