The Knicks’ journey together began in June 2020 at Auburn University, where Beau was the starting quarterback and Izzy was a cheerleader. Their relationship has grown since then and they were engaged in July 2021 at Jordan-Hare Stadium and married a year later at Alabama.

As for the upcoming contest, the Broncos (3-2) enter it as strong favorites. They ride the momentum back to win on the road against the defending champions Philadelphia Eagles. Meanwhile, the Jets are still searching for their first win of the season (0-5).

Bo Nix refutes Sunday’s contest as a trap game

Denver is the favorite in most projections, leading to some questioning whether this is a trap game (a game where the favored team underestimates a supposedly weaker opponent and is caught off guard).

However, Bo Nix is not sold on the concept. After Wednesday’s training, he said:

“I think in the league, quite frankly, it’s a little bit disrespectful to consider anyone a trap team. They’re an NFL team, they’re going to have some really good players on defense, and it’s not really a trap game. I think any game you can get into and get stuck and lose, that’s just the league.”

“If you’re not careful in some way, it might be all because they’re good competitors.”

The Knicks also said the Jets’ record doesn’t tell the whole story, noting that some of their losses came down to the final moments.

“But they’re a good football team; they’ve been close in some games. They’ve been two games away from two or three wins. I definitely think that’s something you have to be careful with. This isn’t a team that can just roll around like they haven’t had a win, but I think we’ll be ready to go. It’s just another game.”

Through five games this season, Bo Nix has thrown for 1,103 yards on a 64.8% completion rate, scoring eight touchdowns. He also rushed for 100 yards and a score.
