Dolly Parton’s late husband Carl Dean’s will was announced about 7 months after his death at the age of 82.

according to Us Weekly, The “I Will Always Love You” singer filed a court document after his death and stated that he signed a will on January 16, 2013 and never amended it.

Court documents obtained by the news agency showed that the octogenarian man kept his property closed to his famous wife and other family members, but he had other options in the case that passed before him.

Barton pointed out that she is his widow and they have no children. She added that her husband does not own any property in Tennessee, but he does own personal property and money. He stated that the sole beneficiary of his estate is the Carl Thomas Dean Trust, of which Barton is the trustee.

Dean said his wife should receive his full right, title and interest in any personal property related to her music and entertainment career, including, but not limited to, photographs, costumes, jewelry, musical instruments and equipment.

This comes as the “Coat of Many Colors” singer sparked health concerns among her fans after she postponed her Las Vegas show for nearly a year for health reasons.

In a statement shared on Instagram about two weeks ago, Parton told fans that she “will need to postpone my upcoming concerts in Las Vegas” and that she wanted them to hear it directly from her.

“As many of you know, I’ve been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors are telling me I should have some procedures done. As I joke with them, it should be time for my 100,000-mile checkup, even though it’s not the usual trip to see a plastic surgeon!” She said.

Parton also explained that the move was necessary for her to put on a good show, before going on to reassure fans that she will be “able to work on all my projects from here in Nashville.”

“I just need a little time to prepare for the show, as they say,” the singer noted. “And don’t worry about me quitting because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet. But I think He’s asking me to slow down now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you.”

However, she later clarified that she didn’t mean to trigger fans before going on to share a small update on Parton’s health condition.

“I want to make something clear. I didn’t mean to scare anyone or make it seem too serious when I asked for prayers for Dolly,” she said. Explosion.

Barton’s sister added: “She was having a bit of bad weather, and I simply asked for prayer because I believe so strongly in the power of prayer. It was nothing more than a little sister asking for prayers for her big sister. Thank you all for lifting her up. Your love really makes a difference.”
