Farrah Abraham’s teenage daughter shows off her first tattoo

Abraham’s daughter Sophia just got her first tattoo and couldn’t help but share the news with fans. The 16-year-old influencer shared a video on Instagram on Wednesday in which she revealed a drawing of three huge bats on either side of her stomach.

The clip, which also featured her famous mother, saw Sophia caress Ibrahim by grabbing her stomach. “I have a surprise for you guys,” the text above the video read as the teen feigned a worried look.

Someone was heard shouting, “Oh my God!” Ibrahim joined in as well, as if surprised and worried that her daughter might be pregnant.

The mother and daughter first found fame on MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” when Abraham was pregnant with Sophia at the age of 16.

Judging by her reaction, it seems she doesn’t want to become a grandmother, at least not now, when she’s 34 years old.

However, netizens seem to be very angry with her and the way she is raising Sofia.

One Instagram user said: “I love supportive parents, but at this point, it’s too negative. Some of you act like getting a tattoo at a young age, with or without your parents’ permission, is flexing, and it really isn’t. Sometimes parents can just say ‘no.’

Another user added: “At that age it’s too young, regardless of whether the parent approves. Rules need to be set… Maybe I’m old school, but that’s what I think.”

A third user wrote: “Girl… be her mother, not her friend,” while another said, “There is a limit” to everything, urging Abraham to “stop trying to be your kids’ best friend and start acting like a parent.”

One critic asked: “This is so heartbreaking. Why doesn’t the mother understand that her daughter is screaming for help?”

However, many other fans have been supportive of the kind of relationship she shares with her daughter.

Abraham responded to people who criticized her for her daughter’s piercing, saying that she had been “shaming parents” in the past but had become more accepting.

“Shamirz parents, the door will always be open to you, because I was like you before, and I know what I’m not good for, and I know that teens need a lot of compassion now,” she captioned the post, before adding that teens face more serious issues like alcohol abuse and sex with minors.

She continued: “Allowing them to drink (her father died in a fatal car accident due to underage drinking), having sex without even having a bank card/or credit line (I didn’t know the world, nor my health, nor accountability, and exposing underage sex), and experimenting with life-killing drugs (how many teens have we seen die from fentanyl).”
