Save the Everest mountain climbers after a severe snowy storm

Official media reported late on Tuesday that about 900 hikers, guides, and other ways that were cut off due to a weekend snowstorm on the Chinese side of Mount Everest arrived in safety.

A severe storm struck the area on Saturday night, which led to the arrival of the place where the hikers resided in tents at an altitude of more than 4,900 meters (16,000 feet).

In all, the ways were cut with 580 parks, more than 300 guides, yak bull and other workers. Official media, quoting the local government, said that about 350 hikers were able to go down by Monday noon and the rest arrived by Tuesday.

According to what was reported, some hikers were wounded, the official China News Agency (Xinhua) said that about ten of them took them to the meeting point with food, medicine, heating and oxygen supply.

The scenic area in Jabal Everest was temporarily closed in the Chinese region. The summit, which is 8850 meters high (29,000 feet), is the highest in the world, on the border with Nepal.

The storm hit a week that lasted and ended on Wednesday. Many Chinese travel at home and abroad during the holiday that coincides with the anniversary of the start of the Communist Party’s rule in China on October 1, 1949.

A snowstorm holds at least 200 hikers on Mount Everest

The ways were cut at least 200 hikers, and they were waiting for the rescue on the Tibetan side of the Everest Mountain after it surprised the snowfall unusually many people during a crowded holiday week.

In Nepal, a South Korean climber died at the weekend near the Mira Beck summit, a mountain in the Himalayas with a height of 6476 meters (21,250 feet) south of Everest.

Snow storms at the beginning of the season struck at least two other areas in western China during the weekend, killing one person and cutting the means of car drivers on a ice highway and covered with snow near a picturesque walking area for long distances.

More than 200 people were evacuated from Wadi Naya and Ruar in the Killian Mountains, Chenghai Province. A person died due to low body temperature and highland.

The area is not developed, and the authorities warned people later against entering without permission, noting the difficult terrain and indiscriminate weather and average height of more than 4000 meters (13,000 feet).

In the Xinjiang region in northwest of China, the Kanas area with a scenic landscape was closed after a snowstorm on Sunday, which cut the ways to car drivers on a highway. The official media said that the road was cleared by Monday.
