The hikers are directed to Everest to safety after they were cut off by a strong snowy storm

A total of 580 hikers who were trapped due to the harsh weather near Mount Everest were directed to safety in Tibet, according to the Chinese government media.

Trekkers has arrived in the small town of Qudang and its surrounding areas, along with 300 local guide, YAK processors and other support staff, CCTV said on Tuesday.

A final group of about 10 hikers, accompanied by rescue workers, did not reach the Qudang, but it reached a loud point, which contains heating equipment, oxygen and other emergency supplies.

Thick snow began on Friday evening, intensifying at the end of the week, and mountain guides caught on the guard.
