Donald Trump threatened to summon the rebellion law for the year 1807 by deploying forces in American cities, and intensifying confrontation with democratic -led countries that resist its use of the army on American soil.

The president seemed to warn as his efforts to send federal forces to cancel the protests in several cities, and it has achieved mixed results in the courts, as one of them stopped the deployment of the army to Oregon and another allowed in Illinois.

“We have a rebellion law for some reason,” Trump told reporters at the Oval Office on Monday.

“If you have to his age, I will do so – if people were killed and the courts are adhering to it, or if the governors or mayors were holding us.”

Trump’s threat indicates that he intends to move forward in his plans to use the army to reduce the protests locally even in the face of setbacks in court.

After deploying forces to the streets of Los Angeles in June, Trump moved to expand the use of the army in American cities, saying it was necessary to clarify the crime and protect federal facilities and employees from protests against the immigration campaign.

In recent days, the president moved to send forces to Portland, Oregon and Chicago, Illinois, against the will of the state and local officials who say it is unnecessary and unconstitutional.

“There is no rebellion here,” JB Pritzker, Illinois Governor, told reporters on Monday. He added: “Donald Trump uses our service members as political pillars and pawns in his illegal attempt to collect the cities of our nation.”

During his second term, Trump challenged the old hesitation of American presidents to use the American army locally. Some cities including Memphis, Tennessee, Washington, DC, the capital of the United States, welcomed or endured American forces.

The White House defended publishing with journalists on Monday.

“It is a shameful thing to see in some cities across the country, that the mayors simply reject cooperation because they do not like Donald Trump,” said press secretary Caroline Levitte. “This is what this is summarized,” she added.
