Abbe Group to acquire the Australian operations of Oji Fiber Solutions

The ABBE Group, a special manufacturer to fill corrugated cardboard, has announced the obtaining OJI Fiber Solutions in Australia.

The deal includes the stock agreement with the ABBE (Abbe Pty Ltd) group.

The integration of business is expected to enhance the ABBE Group website in the Australian corrugated packaging market.

The financial details of the deal were not revealed.

The deal is covered by OJI packaging solutions in the states of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

It also includes Carton Carton solutions (OJI), regional distribution, and facilities in the far north of Queensland and the Sunraysia.

The transaction is expected to be completed on November 1, 2025.

“This is another step in our transformation towards a more stable and sustainable business model and we can fully focus on our basic operations in New Zealand,” said John Ryder, President of Oji Fiber Solutions.

“While we will be sad to bid farewell to our Australian colleagues, we are proud of what they have accomplished and enthusiastic about their future under new ownership. We wish the ABBE group all success for the future.”

Abe described the deal as a “main teacher”, saying that it will enhance its infrastructure as well as access to the service, saying: “We warmly welcome the Oji Fiber Solutions Australia team to Abbe Group and look forward to an exciting future because we make the package easy for our customers together.”
