The Light & Wonder’s proposal was approved to force the development to take its commercial secrets by arbitration by the Nevada Provincial Court.
The court ruled on September 30 that The claims made by development Confidential sports files and commercial secrets that control light and wonder should go to create competing products to arbitration. Claims for violating patents will continue separately in court.
The two companies will now solve claims related to commercial secrets outside the court, after the court rejected the first complaint in February. The development then re -claimed new claims in a separate document.

Judge Christina Silva gave the Light & Wonder proposal after finding that the dispute is part of the arbitration condition in the 2021 license agreement between the two games. The couple then agreed that Light & Wonder has exclusive rights to create a material version of the Lightning Evolution game for use in wild casinos.
In 2024, Evolution first submitted claims of commercial secrets that misdeed out under Federal and Nevada, as well as violating the patents of development. It has argued that Light & Wonder used files and secret information to create Rolettex, Powerx and 88 Fortunes Blaze Live Roulette.
The licensing agreement stated that any claim that was not resolved through negotiation must “finally be settled under the arbitration rules of the International Chamber of Commerce by three arbitrators,” which leads to the judge’s ruling here. The arbitration site was appointed in London, after the court rejected the arguments of development that the dispute is linked to intellectual property and therefore should not go to arbitration.
The Patent Violation claims remain in the provincial court, with a conference to be held on October 30. Evolution argues that confidential information has been shared with Light & Wonder under NDA, which continued to use double and payment systems.
