Margaret Brennan: We are now joined by the Democratic Senator at Illinois Tami Dakrith. Good morning, and it is good to be here, personally. Therefore, I must ask you what the President announced yesterday regarding the preparation of 300 national guards in Illinois. We have heard this threat returning throughout August. The ruler says this is not necessary. Do you have any idea when they will arrive?

Senator Tami Dakrith: Well, I think they will be a national guard in Illinois. Therefore, they will not come from outside the state. I spoke to our ruler yesterday, and it appears that it will be about 300 Illinois guards who will be activated against the wisdom of the ruler. So they will be local Illinois, and they are our brothers, sisters and neighbors. You may have served with a large number of them, and certainly driving. And you know that it will be at home. We will welcome them. It is a misuse of the National Guard. They are unnecessary in this particular role. If President Trump really wants to fight the crime, he may stop neglecting the police, as you know, he has transferred $ 800 million in crime prevention efforts away from- allocated from funding for our police officers. So, as you know, I am unnecessary, but we will welcome them, because they are our brothers and sisters, and we are proud of our national guard.

Margaret Brennan: It has risen, the federal government has risen, agents of different groups. The FBI said yesterday they were sending people. Tell me about these protests, because the pictures seem intense what happened between people in the streets of Chicago, and we appear some of this video now, on immigration issues. As I understand yesterday, the ice authorities launched the Chicago woman in the Brighton Park area. Minister Naim claimed that ICE launched defensive footage of this woman, who was armed, and who appeared in the boundary boundaries ’intelligence bulletin previously. She claims that federal agents were surrounded and threatened. What does the local authorities tell you about what they think happened here?

Sen. Duckworth: Well, they lie, right? The Trump administration lies. We have a well -known liar president, and they were lying about the situation all the time. In fact, they even shot on tear gas, I think, in a correspondent that was simply driving his car with its window open. Thus, we urge people, we urge our demonstrators, remain calm, peaceful pleasure, and practice the rights of the first amendment. But the video is everything. Everyone has a phone. Everything tape, so we already have real evidence of what is happening. We know that the Trump administration is constantly. What I hear is that, for the largest part, people are very calm, very respectful. But the ice is very aggressive. Remember that they are children from the postal code. They are holding residential blocks in the middle of the night, separating the children from their families, and pulling people to the naked streets. They use Gestapo tactics in Chicago, and this is what Trump wants to do, right? He wants to intimidate the Chicago people. This will not happen, and we will document everything and confirm, just as the judge in Portland said, that these requirements, these requests from the Trump administration, are not actually related to reality.

Margaret Brennan: You are talking about President Trump’s guidance to send the National Guard forces in Oregon to Portland, and the judge said about the facts. However, in this case, I mean, the Internal Security Adviser says that there is a large and growing movement of left -wing terrorism, organized and financing it. They publish, on internal security, snipers. So we are not talking about forces, we are talking about federal agents who are doing some now. Have you seen any evidence of what Stephen Miller describes here in terms of organization and targeting federal agents?

Sen. Duckworth: No, not at all. This- it simply does not happen. They lie. Thus, if anyone targeting anyone, it is outside the ice agents, again, again, they raise children, throw journalists on the ground, separate children from their mothers, and try to persuade schools to hand over children from public schools. They wander around the streets of Chicago, and try to intimidate citizens every day, or ordinary citizens, or just try to go to school and go to work. This is unacceptable. This is not what America revolves around. It is a shame that the current United States has incited one of its greatest cities. He must defend the city. It should protect the city. He sent us federal dollars that have been allocated in a way of two parties to support law enforcement. They took the money away from law enforcement officers, and children’s prevention efforts against children to prevent children. They- literally, this president, has reduced the police.

Margaret Brennan: Well, this is to face their messages, at least. But on the messages about the army, I want to ask you about what happened in Quantico. Thus, our viewers are clear, you are working in armed services, but you have retired from the National Guard. I was a first lieutenant.

Sen. Duckworth: 23 years old.

Margaret Brennan: Black Hawk helicopter pilot in Iraq. I served in the fighting. Minister Hegseth told senior military commanders a few days ago that he did not want to prevent women from service, but he will now require everyone to meet the male standard. Let’s listen to that.

War Minister Beit Higseth: When it comes to any job that requires a material strength to perform in the fighting, these material standards must be high and gender. If a woman can make her excellent. If not, this is what it is. If this means that there are no qualified women for some combat jobs, let it be so. This is not the intention, but it can be the result.

Margaret Brennan: How did you hear these notes, and how do you think people are in service heard them?

Sen. DuckWorth: Well, this is the least rehabilitation of the defense in the history of our nation, and it doubts the ability of women who actually qualify for their jobs. The female Rangers, the female who graduated from the Sil School, received those standards. By the way, it is somewhat disturbed because there are different male standards. The standard for a 45 -year -old man is not the same as a 18 -year -old man. So he does not actually talk about it. He has long sought to get women out of the army. Frankly, our army could not do its work in protecting America and maintaining our safety without women who were served in the army. If you look at some of the lessons that we learned in Afghanistan, for example, The Lioneses, a group of marine infantry women who have already carried out the units of all females that have already been able to obtain intelligence information from women- Afghan women to obtain information about the enemy. Frankly, you have the least rehabilitative defense minister in the history of the country, which is wasteful of taxpayers regularly in doing things such as bringing public officers and patients to be an audience to see his dog and a dowry, using them as a small gaming university when they are there in your units in driving.
