The moment of Sean “Didi” Combs learned his punishment in court

Three months ago, Sean Didi Kums fell on his knees in a courtroom in Manhattan after he was acquitted by a jury in New York on charges of sex and extortion.

“I will go home,” he said as he turned to confront his family, who supported him every day of the trial.

On Friday, a defeated version of the hip -hop pole sat without emotion and is still on his chair, as the judge sentenced him to more than four years in prison.

After Judge Aaron Supramanian finished reading his punishment, the rapper turned to look at his family and appeared his punches: “I love you, I am sorry.”

It was a quiet moment to celebrate the end of an eight -week chaotic experience that forever changed the image of the audience of mothers – once from the most famous rapper in the world. The jury watched graphical videos of the so -called “Freak Off” – sexual parties that were photographed, which include tenants and former wife Cassandra Ventura and “Jane”, an unknown victim. They also saw a video clip, had previously gone virus, hitting Ventura in a hotel lounge.

In July, a committee of 12 New York residents acquitted Koms, 55, of sex trafficking and blackmail – which carried life imprisonment – but condemned him to transport to engage in prostitution.

His lawyers were hoping that he would be outside the prison within weeks, and the court asked the court to be sentenced to 14 months in prison, 13 of which already served.

Prosecutors of mothers were accused of managing a criminal institution to coercion women in unwanted sex and drugs. Despite his acquittal of the most dangerous charges, sex and extortion, they have requested a prison sentence for more than 11 years.

Ultimately, Judge Sopramian told a boring safety that his crimes and their use of his former friends justified 50 months in prison.

But the court did not hear from the victims themselves, after a person planning to speak, Mia, a former assistant to mothers who witnessed anonymously, after the defense wrote a letter called a liar.

Subramanian described the message “inappropriate”, and thanked “strong women” for progressing with allegations against COMBS, and told them that they were not “only speaking to 12 men and women in the jury box.”

Instead of their own statements on Friday, Subramanian read many of the victims’ statements from the martyrdom, and they told the nations: “These were serious crimes that were harmful to two women.”

Kumz himself addressed the court for the first time since the beginning of his trial.

He breathes great signing before standing to read his speech, and he called with the judge for “mercy”.

He read with glasses of a piece of paper in front of him, in an attempt to keep the eye contact with the judge as he told him: “I have no blame but myself.”

He stormed tears as he turned to confront his family and tells his mother: “I failed as a son.”

This was not the first time that tears were thrown during the session.

Many supporters of Koms cried when six of his seven children came to the platform to ask the judge a slight punishment, and they told him that they needed their father. The three girls and the three sons gathered with their arms wrapped around each other, as many of them cried while speaking to the judge.

The judge said during the ruling that he took into account the relationships of the Comles family, but he said that he also had to take into account the damage he caused to his victim.

He added that the crimes were dangerous, noting that they occurred even after a federal investigation and a video clip leaked to him hitting Ventura in the hotel’s lobby.

“The history of good works cannot wash your record,” he said.

But he said to a terrible rain, he twice tilt his head and sighed, there was light at the end of the prison sentence.

“Mr. Koms, you and your family, will pass through this,” he said.

When the judge ended to deliver his speech, Koms gave a quick gesture to dozens of family and friends, before he calmly returned across the door to return to a federal prison in Brooklyn.
