The anti -government demonstrators in Georgia tried to storm the presidential palace in the capital, Tbilisi.
The police used tear gas and water cannon to disperse them.
The protests began after some government opposition figures called for a “peaceful revolution” against the government led by the Georgian Dream Party, which is accused of being a supporter of Russia and authoritarianism.
The country’s supportive opposition has been transferring the protests since last year, when the Georgian dream won elections that critics say are fraudulent.
Then the Georgian dream froze talks to join the European Union in Georgia, suddenly stopped a long -term national goal.
