The former NFL player and the current Fox SPORTS analyst Mark Sanchez are recovering in the hospital after being stabbed in Indianapolis before the Sunday match between Colls and Las Vegas Reders.

Fox Sports issued a statement confirming that Sanchez was in a “stable condition”. The statement did not say the nature of the accident, which resulted in his injury.

“Mark Sanchez was wounded in Indianapolis on Saturday and is currently recovering in the hospital in a stable condition. We are very grateful to the medical team for his care and exceptional support. Our thoughts and prayers with Mark, and we ask everyone to respect his privacy and his family during this time.”

TMZ SPORTS first stated that Sanchez was stabbed early on Saturday morning.
