Defense Minister Beit Higseth says that the American forces killed four people in an attack on a boat off the coast of Venezuela, who was alleged to smuggle drugs.

Hegseth wrote in a post on X.

It is the latest in a number of recent deadly strikes in which the United States was carried out on boats in international waters that it says is involved in “Narco Track”.

The strikes attracted condemnation in countries including Venezuela and Colombia, where some international lawyers described the strikes as a violation of international law.

Higseth said the attack took place in the field of the responsibility of the South American leadership, which covers most of South America and the Caribbean.

Higseth said on Friday’s attack: “Our intelligence undoubtedly confirmed that this ship was running away from drugs, and people on the plane were from the terrorism, and they were working on the well -known transportation path that follows NARCO.”

“These strikes will continue until the attacks on the American people end !!!!”

US President Trump also confirmed the strike on the social truth platform, saying that the boat was carrying enough drugs “to kill between 25 to 50 thousand people.”

However, the United States has not provided evidence of its claims or any information about the identities of those on board.

There was no immediate response from Venezuela, but its president, Nicholas Maduro, previously condemned the strikes and said that his country would defend himself against “aggression”.

The deadly attack on Friday is the fourth by the United States in one month.

Trump said 11 people were killed in a blow Against a container carrying drugs in the southern Caribbean at the beginning of September.

Later in the month, two separate days were killed on the killing of a total of six people.

This Thursday, a note that was leaked to Congress-which was reported by the American media-said that the US government has now decided that it was in a “non-international armed conflict” with drug gangs.

This is important because the administration is required by law to submit a report to Congress if it will use the armed forces, indicating that it plans to use other military measures.

The United States put its strikes on alleged drug boats as self -defense, although many lawyers question their legitimacy.

Framing this active armed conflict is likely to be a means of Trump to justify the use of more extremist capabilities in wartime – for example the killing of “enemy fighters” even if they did not pose a violent threat, or to hold people indefinitely. These are the powers similar to those applied to the base after September 11.

Trump did not provide the reason why he was classified as drug smuggling and his associated crimes as a “armed attack”, or his name Carttat, which is believed to attack the United States.

He has already designed many cartals, including in Mexico, Ecuador and Venezuela, as terrorist organizations – the American authorities give more authorities in their response to them.
