Apple marginalizes plans to repair VISION Pro VR glasses to focus on developing smart intelligence glasses that can compete with products from the definition, according to a new report from Bloomberg Mark Gorman.

Although the company was developing a cheaper and lighter version of Vision Pro, Apple transmits employees from this project to work on smart glasses.

Bloomberg states that the technology giant develops at least two types of smart glasses. The first model, nickname N50, will be paired with the iPhone and has no own view. According to Apple, Apple is planned to reveal these smart glasses as soon as next year and release them in 2027.

The second version of the smart glasses on which the company works includes a screen. These glasses will compete with Meta Ray-Ban ViewIt was revealed last month. While Apple planned to release this version of its smart glasses in 2028, the company is now working to expedite the development.

Despite the last shift in focus, Apple is behind Meta, which launched its first smart glasses in 2021.
