The collapse of the Ethiopia Church is said to kill at least 36 people

Addis Ababa – The government media said that the temporary scourges that were held in a church in Ethiopia collapsed on Wednesday, killing at least 36 people and wounding more than 200 people. The accident occurred at about 7:45 am local time in Eritrei, about 40 miles east of the capital Addis Ababa, when it was a group visiting Maryam Virgin’s annual festival.

“The number of deaths has reached 36 years and may increase,” boycott police chief Ahmed Jibbeho told government media.

Some people remained under the rubble, according to the local official, Atnafu Abate, to the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC), without providing further details about the confined or possible rescue efforts.

He said that some of the most daring harm were transferred to hospitals in the capital.

Joint photos on the official Facebook Facebook page showed a chaos of the collapsed wooden columns, with crowds gathering in the heavy debris.

Other photos seemed to appear outside the church where the scaffolds were built unstable.

A government statement shared by EBC expressed his condolences, adding that “safety must be given priority.”

Health and safety regulations are not actually present in Ethiopia, the second nation of the nation swollen in Africa, and construction incidents are common.

The sprawling state is a mosaic of 80 ethnic groups and has one of the oldest Christian societies in the world.

Its predecessor, the Empire of the Acoomite, declared Christianity the religion of the state in the fourth century.
