Louis Figo will return a surprise – and perhaps provocative – to Barcelona tonight after it was called the European Football Association’s ambassador to their favor. The Champions League clashed with Paris Saint -Germain.
Figo is still a hate figure between the Barcelona fans base with his decision to switch a nucleus camp for Real Madrid in 2000 – a seismic transition that shook the world of football, and even led to a documentary in Netflix.
The Portuguese international faced a severe violent reaction from Blaugrana fans, who threw the head of the famous pig in Vigo when he returned for the second time in 2002.
The situation still extends today, with Vigo involved in a fight with the Barcelona fan before the Champions League final in the women’s team in May.
