Hurun India Rich List 2025: Which city is the home of most billionaires this year?

The wealth map in India has become more layer than ever. Mumbai strengthened its crown as the capital of the billionaire in the country, where the M3m Hurun India Rich 2025 menu led with 451 participants, a joke of 255 in 2021, and the homeland of the rich Asia, MUKESH ABani & Family, with 91 billionaires.

New Delhi follows 223 names, led by Roshni Nadar Malhotra & Family, and is 70 billionaires. The Bengalu, with 116 entrants, is supported by Azim Premji & Family, while Hyderabad is with 102, Chennai with 94, and Pune with 66 indicates decentralization of wealth axes throughout the country. Ahmed Abad and Kulkata, each of them, 68 participants, also appear prominently.

Polar side, existing medications are at the top of 137 distances, followed by industrial products (132), chemical and petrochemical materials (125), programs and services (110), and real estate (99). Biotech appeared as a fast -growing sector, adding to the diverse wealth engine in India.

India’s global status

India ranks third in the world for billionaires, reaching 284 individuals in the Horon International Rich 2025 list. Their common wealth reached 98 trillion rupees-third of GDP of India and greater than GDP in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Mukesh Ambani maintains his place as the richest man in Asia worth 8.6 trillion rupee, although 1 trillion rupee declined last year. He shines tightly Gotam Adwani, whose wealth increased by 13 % to 8.4 trillion rupee.

The names of the other princess include Roshni Nadar (3.5 trillion rupee), Dilip Shanghvi (2.5 trillion), Azim Premji (2.2 trillion rupee), Kumar Mangalam BIRLA (RS 2 trillion), Cyrus Poonwalla (RS 2 Trillion), Nirajj Baj.

The spread of new interior and the city

India added 13 new billionaires this year, with a total of 284. Mumbai is still the axis that owns more billionaires, although it slipped behind Shanghai (92 billionaire) and Beijing (91) in Asia. However, Mumbai added 11 new billionaires, more than London (7) and Beijing (8).

City categories show the size of the change: Gurugram (38), Surat (32), Coimbatore (17) continues to rise, while Rajkot, Ludhiana, Jaipur and Indore host dozens or less but increasing from the increasing duty. Indian names are also distinguished abroad, as London hosts 12 and San Francisco 9.
