Travis Kelce’s ex Kayla Nicole addresses harassment from Swifties

Travis Kelseyex girlfriend, Kayla Nicolerevealed that she is still experiencing online harassment stemming from the Kansas City Chiefs’ close, high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift.

Kayla, who dated Kelsey on and off from 2017 to 2022, said the online hate started after the NFL star went public with the “Bad Blood” singer in September 2023.

Despite their breakup, Kayla Nicole continued to be dragged into the spotlight due to Travis Kelce’s relationship with the “mega star.”

During a recent episode of Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test, Nicole spoke candidly about the challenges of dealing with a public breakup.

“It was very stressful, to be honest, I went through a very public breakup,” she admitted. “I’ve never experienced anything like it.”

Nicole shared that being called “someone’s ex-girlfriend” was frustrating. “I get a lot of ridicule because[Kelce]is dating a huge star,” she added.

Despite the negativity, she was quick to compliment Swift, saying she “loved her” and found her “very talented.”

Critics have attacked her appearance, accused her of seeking validation, and criticized her for how she presents herself online. One user wrote in one of her posts: “Why are you seeking so much validation from posting yourself like this?” While another commented, “Not all men want to see their future wives’ skin on social media.”

In response to one particularly harsh troll on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Nicole retweeted a sarcastic comment about her appearance, writing: “You’ll never make me hate me. Hang her uppppppp bookie.”

Brittany was often seen spending time with Swift, attending games together, and even sharing a double date with the Kelce-Swift couple. Brittany and Kayla were once close friends, and Kayla even served as a bridesmaid at Mahomes’ March 2022 wedding.

However, unfollowing and not liking previous posts on Instagram has left many fans in shock.

“Keep your heart even when they try to measure your character and test your limits,” she wrote. “You don’t have to respond. Because there is power in your silence.”

Ahead of the release of Swift’s 11th album, “Tortured Poets Oath,” in April 2024, Nicole once again took to social media to address the ongoing trolling. “No problem. Mind my business. Never respond to constant vitriol,” she wrote.

“Strong when they come and don’t expect a pat on the back either. “Just know that everyone has a breaking point and I’d love for you to leave me alone,” Nicole added (because you know exactly who you are).

As of now, neither Travis Kelce nor Taylor Swift have publicly addressed the statements or harassment directed at Kayla Nicole.
