The Palestinians in Gaza and the Israelis in Jerusalem were interacting with the new plan of Donald Trump to end the war between Israel and Hamas, which was announced by the American President and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday.
In a café in Jerusalem, two Israelis welcomed the scheme, but they asked whether Hamas would agree to disarmament after nearly two years of fighting in Gaza.
Meanwhile, in the besieged Palestinian territories, Ghazan asked the displaced whether their needs were considered, and raised concerns about Trump’s desire that had previously expressed the construction of resorts on the ground.
The new proposal, which will witness a “peace council” – headed by Trump – helps in a transitional administration in Gaza, has paid support from leaders in Europe and the Middle East.
